Join the Lockt Edit team to learn the full post production process while honing your own editorial skills working on both internal and Client work. You’ll receive mentorship and guidance from Lockt’s team of Staff Editors, while being part of a company that delivers full campaigns from Ideation to Delivery to media.
A Lockt intern will assist in ingesting and organization of raw footage, managing the asset library, and preparing project elements for editors.
Intern will support editing tasks including project creation and organization, pulling selects, creating assemblies, implementing revisions, prepping for and collaborating with adjacent post teams (sound, color, vfx), and conforming and delivering sequences.
Intern is expected to develop proficiency in software such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Resolve, and a myriad of creative and utility AI tools.
Training will be provided through job shadowing, tutorials, workshops, and guided practice with feedback from mentors.
The intern is expected to show growth in collaboration, technical skillset, and understanding of professional post-production workflows.
Candidates should submit a portfolio / reel with sample editing work. Must have robust knowledge of Premiere, experience with Ai-Gen Video Tools, After Effects or other VFX tools is a bonus.
